Algorithms and artificial intelligence should benefit everyone. With your support, we advocate for these systems to strengthen justice, human rights, democracy and sustainability instead of weakening them.

Together for justice!

Whether automated facial recognition, social media algorithms or AI-led selection in job applications: Algorithms and AI now affect countless areas of our lives. Together, we are fighting for a society in which we all - not just a few - benefit from the use of such systems.

Your support counts, no matter how much you give! And it's very easy with TWINT, bank transfer, Paypal, credit card or postcard via our donation form. Thank you very much!

Important Notice Regarding Fraud Attempts

Our donation account is currently being misused by unknown individuals as part of a fraud scheme.

This often works as follows: People are promised high returns on their investments and are instructed to initially transfer money to the account of an organization such as AlgorithmWatch CH. Later, they are often asked to make additional payments, which are then transferred to other, frequently foreign, accounts.
AlgorithmWatch CH does not offer investments or financial products.

Since we cannot determine from a bank transfer why you made the payment, we proactively contact potential victims in the case of suspicious payments. In some cases, we may transfer one cent back to you and ask you, in the payment reference, to verify the payment.

Did you intentionally make a donation to our organization? Then everything is fine — we sincerely thank you for your support.

Did you transfer money to us as part of an investment offer? Then you may have fallen victim to fraud. Please contact your bank immediately and report the incident to the police. If you would like to request a refund of the amount you transferred to us, please contact your bank or email us directly at info@algorithmwatch.ch.

When donating through the online form, your data will be transmitted to the Berlin-based company Twingle. Your email address will also be used to send you updates from AlgorithmWatch CH. For more information, see our privacy policy in the section “Spenden.”

You do not wish to donate via the donation platform? We are happy to receive your donation directly on our donation account (download inpayment slip) . IBAN: CH91 0070 0114 8053 0670 8
If you would like to receive a donation receipt, please provide us with your address in the payment reference.
