RAISD – How AI is impacting democracy and society

In a joint project with the University of Zurich, AlgorithmWatch CH is investigating the interactions between artificial intelligence, democracy and society in Switzerland: How are current developments in AI affecting the population, democratic opinion-forming and public debate in Switzerland? The “RAISD” project strengthens public discourse on the topic through empirical studies on current developments and contributes to this field of research.

Algorithms in the Swiss Political Discourse

This project is conducted as part of a Capstone Course of the Institute of Political Science at the University of Zurich. The aim of this project is to evaluate the Swiss discourse on the use of algorithms: Which actors shape the public debate and from which perspectives are algorithms politically problematized?
